Grounded is a b-boy crew (popularly known as 'breakdancing') from Sweden with members from Stockholm, Uppsala and Gävle. The crew was founded back in 2003 and took its present form 2008 with a total number of nine dancers. The crew travels and competes world-wide, but has also become the crew with the highest number of gold medals in the Swedish Championships of breaking, with three titles so far (2004, 2006, 2007). On the commercial side Grounded and its members has been fortunate to work with well-established companies and brands such as Nike, Adidas, WESC and Levi's. The crew, with extensive experience of coreographing and perfoming, has gained recognition as for performing shows with a lot of character and of consistent quality. The crew has received the 'Best show'-award twice (2007 and 2008) in the biggest annual breaking competition in Scandinavia, that is The Scandinavian Battle of the Year (ScanBOTY for short). Dancers from the crew has also been seen dancing behind (and in collaboration with) Swedish artists such as Agnes, Darin and Petter. Other appearances and collaberations include Pringles, Gainomax and JC to name a few.
